The exciting news on my end is that I'm going to try to transition from "photo enthusiast" to "photographer for hire." A lot of people have encouraged me to do so, so we'll see where it goes.
I've started up a new blog - jenmielbrecht(dot)blogspot(dot)com - that I'll keep strictly for photos (oh look...there's a link to it on the left...) -- perhaps I'll branch to a real Web site one of these days too, but I figured a photo-exclusive blog was a good start.
I was excited that my first "official" gig was with one of my dearest friends....Emily has a beautiful family and I had so much fun shooting them....
